Exercise

Left of Boom designs scenario-based exercises drawn from an organisation's actual risk profile, so teams are tested against realistic pressure rather than a generic script.

CMT Desktop Exercise

A CMT Desktop Exercise is a facilitated, scenario-based session that tests a Crisis Management Team's activation, decision-making, communications, and stakeholder management under pressure. Left of Boom designs site-specific scenarios drawn from the organisation's actual risk profile and runs the team through them in real time, followed by a structured debrief.

Full Scale Mock Simulation Exercise

A Full Scale Mock Simulation is a real-time exercise linking site operations, contractors and partners, and the corporate crisis team in a single scenario. Injects run across operational, safety, media, and stakeholder channels to test escalation and the interface between the Incident Management Team and the Crisis Management Team, followed by a structured debrief and improvement report.

What clients say

“Grant provided training and response advisory support to Toll Group for a number of years. This work proved crucial when the organisation was struck by a series of events in 2020 starting with the bushfires, and followed simultaneously by COVID and two global cyber-attacks. The realism in his training and exercises aided in preparing us for this series of events. His book is an excellent guide for leaders and practitioners alike to ensure they are best prepared for the worst case.”

Former CFO of Toll Group, now CEO Port of Melbourne
