Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect personal information on this website. Last updated 5 August 2026.

Who we are

We are Wheelhouse Partners Pty Ltd, trading as Left of Boom (ABN 68 609 487 087), an Australian crisis management, business continuity, and resilience advisory firm. In this policy, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Left of Boom. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

We collect personal information you choose to give us, and limited technical information generated when you use the site.

Enquiry form. When you contact us through the site, we collect your name, email address, mobile number, organisation, the services you are interested in, and your message.

Crisis Maturity Quick Check. When you use our free capability assessment, we collect your answers and, if you provide them to receive your results, your name and email address.

Website logs and analytics. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address, pages requested, referring page, and browser type. We use aggregated, server-side analytics to understand how the site is used. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to respond to your enquiries, provide your assessment results, deliver our services, and improve this website. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Cookies and local storage

This site does not set tracking cookies. Your browser may store small amounts of data on your own device, for example to remember that you have dismissed a notice or to keep your assessment answers as you complete them. That data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

Some pages include embedded video players from YouTube and Vimeo. These services may set their own cookies when you interact with a player, and their own privacy policies apply to that data.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only with the service providers that operate this website: Netlify, which hosts the site and processes form submissions and analytics, and Resend, which delivers enquiry notifications to us by email. These providers may store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We do not otherwise disclose personal information unless the law requires it.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access or disclosure. We keep personal information only for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry, deliver our services, or meet our legal obligations, and we delete or de-identify it after that.

Access, correction, and complaints

You can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or raise a privacy concern by contacting us through our enquiry form or on 1300 049 520. We will respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices or the website change, and post the current version on this page.
